THE CLUB OFFERS TWO TYPES OF MEMBERSHIPS:

Associate (non-flying) Memberships are available for those who enjoy the camaraderie of fellow pilots and want to participate in Club-sponsored activities. Many Associate Members have access to their own aircraft. Activities include fly-outs, education and training sessions, guest speakers, tours, and other events.

FEES: Associate Membership does not require an initiation fee, but has a monthly membership fee of $15 per person.

Flying Memberships offer all the benefits of an Associate Membership plus access to club-approved Certified Flight Instructors and a variety of affordable aircraft. Our Flying Members can choose from a fleet of five aircraft including three Cessna 172s, a Cessna 182 and a Piper Cherokee 180C. Four of our aircraft are Technically Advanced Aircraft (TAA) with glass panel displays and integrated autopilots; and one has all traditional gauges.

FEES: Individual Flying Membership requires a one time initiation fee of $1500 and monthly membership dues of $110 per person.

The Rogue Valley is an ideal location for general aviation. The KMFR airport is surrounded by Class D airspace with an operating control tower and an ILS and other instrument approaches. This, along with beautiful surrounding terrain, provides for an excellent flight experience whether flying under Visual Flight Rules (VFR) or Instrument Flight Rules (IFR). We maintain an excellent relationship with our Fixed Base Operator, Million Air-Medford, which provides the Club with full-service fuel, hangar services and fantastic customer service. There are many clubs that simply do not have the amazing beauty, quality airport, and partnerships like we do.

Membership Application Process

To learn more about becoming a flying member, please review this New Member Information Document. Join today by downloading an application for membership. After you have filled out the forms, email them to either flyingmembership@rvfc.club or associatemembership@rvfc.club depending on which membership you are interested in.

A membership coordinator will contact you soon to go over your application any additional requirements such as fees, current medical, or pilot license information, if appropriate.

Once reviewed and approved by the board, a membership coordinator will provide orientation. Flying Members will receive an orientation on Schedule Master (our online plane scheduling, billing, maintenance tracking software), the plane scheduling process, and qualifications required for each aircraft.

The entire process takes 2-4 weeks.
